1. How long will the integration take?
The management team of the combined organization will take the required time, thought and energy to ensure that the two companies come together to ensure the best outcomes for our employees and our customers. Some aspects of the integration will take longer than others. We anticipate that the entire process will take several months.
2. What will the combined company be called?
Initially, we will continue to be known as PCS and FB, respectively. Both companies have long histories and established recognition in the marketplace. We will be evaluating several options in the coming months to arrive at a decision that leverages both companies' strong reputations.
3. Will there be site closures?
No site closures are currently planned. However, we will be working to bring PCS and FB employees together at common offices over the coming months.
4. Will FB sell PCS products? Will PCS sell FB products?
In the near term, each business will continue to sell only their current line of products. However, we will be working to combine our plunger lift and automation product lines and where possible identify the best single product offerings moving forward. Additionally, we will determine how to leverage our combined sales forces to broaden delivery of gas lift and nitrogen generation.
5. What happens with PCS and FB have the same type of product?
We will continue to offer PCS products to PCS customers and FB products to FB customers for the time being. We recognize that our customers have made significant investments in our respective products. We will focus on meeting our customers' needs first and foremost, which may mean facilitating sales of each other's products. Cross-divisional teams will work to determine the best long-term solution for our customers.
6. What will happen to each company's product lines?
For the time being, PCS will continue to sell its current products under the PCS brand, and FB will continue to sell its products under the FB brand.
7. Will there be possibilities for other NPS companies to sell PCS and FB products and vice versa?
Yes. One of the benefits of joining Dover NPS is to leverage NPS' global presence to sell more PCS products here and overseas. Likewise, there are cross-promotional opportunities for PCS and FB of other NPS company products.
8. How will this affect the development of new products?
We will have more resources and expertise to dedicate to product development. We will continue to offer current products to both PCS and FB customers. As for products currently in development, cross-divisional teams will work to determine the best solution for our customers moving forward.
